Quantum-Resistant Blockchain Security
In testingWhitepaper v1.0 · June 2026
Security that evolves with the future.
Quantum computing presents a long-term challenge to the cryptographic foundations securing blockchain accounts.
QP2 is developing an upgradeable quantum-security layer that enables blockchain wallets and accounts to adopt post-quantum signature schemes without depending solely on network-wide protocol upgrades.
Designed for flexibility, QP2 supports cryptographic agility through configurable signature schemes, key rotation, and the ability to adapt as post-quantum standards evolve.
Its goal is to make future-ready account security more accessible across blockchain ecosystems.
Why now
In March 2026, Google Quantum AI, working with the Ethereum Foundation and Stanford, showed that breaking the elliptic-curve cryptography behind Ethereum could take fewer than 500,000 qubits, about 20 times fewer than earlier estimates. NIST has already standardised post-quantum signatures and plans to deprecate ECDSA after 2030. Wallets and accounts need a way to adopt them without giving up their address.
